A Bleak Situation.

A pixel Daily with a theme of "Bleak"
So I thought of Bleak situations defined as "it is bad, and seems unlikely to improve"

Process.
My main thought was a strong pokemon charging at a weaker pokemon like ratata with a pixel size limit of 128x128 for my canvas.
I thought to myself, a bleaker situation would be one of the "worst" pokemon vs a legendary.
Placing the two pokemons in a pokemon emerald era background would save me a lot more time, and is very interesting.
I worked on mewtwo first. Basing him off with a mewtwo reference then zooming down to get a silouhette and draw from there same with bidoof. After, I did the UI which is loosely based upon a pokemon emerald screenshot.
I did not originally think of putting a GBA, but I had some time to spare so I created a gameboy advance console as a background. I really didn't pay much attention to the shadows and highlights and was trying to rush it.
